   You post listings that other agents have? I have never seen on agent do that on their blog. I assume you do this to get a buyer for the property.

   Most of my blog posts are in response to a question that i may run into on a daily basis. They are intended to be informative posts that aren’t just promoting my own listings.

   When I highlight my own listings, I categorize them differently and talk about them in a much more in-depth way than I can do when promoting publicly displayed properties such as those listed in this post.

   Hello Dawn. Yes, I would hope your listings would have a lot more information than that. I think it’s a good idea to give consumer’s an idea of what is available in any given area and was not criticizing you. I have seen agent’s list multiple open houses on a given day and list ones from different real estate companies. I think anything that helps out the consumer and doesn’t hinder someone’s business can only benefit everyone.

   Thanks Kami! You’re right, I would think any publicity on a home is good publicity in this case. I wasn’t sure from your post if you were thinking that I was taking credit for the listings mentioned… thanks for clarifying, and for the comments.
