Here’s another great reason to move into Tower Grove East. The owner of the Scottish Arms located on Sarah in the CWE is opening a second place where Pestalozzi Place used to be.

Chef Brendan Noonan and owner Ally Nisbet plan to re-open the doors at the beginning of 2008. It will be located at the corner of Virginian and Pestalozzi.

The restaurant will be a high quality neighborhood bistro with a lovely artistic interior serving seasonal American cuisine backed by European Tradition.

They will be preparing a variety of cured meats and charcuterie in-house as well as highlighting fine meats and cheeses from Europe and America.

Check out both of these listings, each within easy walking distance of the new restaurant and Tower Grove Park

2905 Sidney and 3011 Victor.

Just to clarify, it isn’t going to another Scottish Arms, but more like a European cafe/bistro. They are remodeling now, adding some banquettes and changing the bar a bit. They are hoping to have a late night crowd as well. It’s really exciting!

  3. Awesome news —- thanks for passing it along.

    Fantastic!

Ally and Brendan have done a great job with the Scottish Arms! I hope they are going to have live music at this restaurant, too!

    Welcome to the neighborhood, guys!

My wife and I were quite sad to hear that Pestalozzi Place was closing, since we went there all the time. It will be great to still have a good restaurant within easy walking distance. We can’t wait for the opening!
